WALK FOR THE CURE
Pleasant View Middle School's National Junior Honor Society raised over $3,300 for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. We held a Walk for the Cure on May 3.We had over 175 students, staff, parents, and community members join us for our walk! We walked in honor of many community members who have fought or are fighting cancer. Many people supported our fundraiser by buying t-shirts, entering our raffle, buying bake sale items, and donating money. Thank you to our sponsors: Flyers Pizza, L & L Hardwood Flooring, Villager Flowers, Plank's on Broadway, Kroger at Georgesville Square, Lincoln Village Giant Eagle, and Coca-Cola. We also want to thank our National Junior Honor Society parents for their help setting up and tearing down our event, as well as for raising such wonderful children!
